After we had our Universal Orlando experience, we headed back to Disney World for an evening at Downtown Disney. In my Disney package that I got for booking directly with Disney Travel, there were some free passes to Disney Quest. (I show several of the other perks for booking with Disney in this video.) ANYWAY, I snapped this shot from the taxi that we took from Universal.
After we delivered my son (with his massive headache from The Hulk) back to the room, my daughter and I headed off to Downtown Disney. I’m always amazed at the Lego sculptures they have at the Lego store. Impressive!
|Check out Mosaic Monday|
Our main reason for visiting Downtown Disney was Disney Quest. My son is a huge video game fanatic with his own YouTube channel and everything. So I was super sad that his headache kept him back in the room. He would have loved it! Five floors of every game you can imagine. It was very dark in there, but here is a picture of one game that you play while sitting inside of a jeep. After we checked out Disney Quest, we grabbed some pizzas from The Express at Wolfgang Puck’s Grand Cafe and took them back to the hotel (on crowded Disney busses, which was interesting). They were just what the Dr. ordered for Mr. Headache. 🙂
I didn’t take lots of pictures, but I did take lots of video. I have been making Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc….videos of our trip to Disney. Here is my Day 2 video that includes Harry Potter as well as Downtown Disney. Please check out my YouTube channel (The Happy Travel Bug) and subscribe for all my videos! 🙂
